Fictional Emperor Coin Story
Budget: $30 – $250 SGD
This short story is based on an ancient Emperor of a Country that is so loved by her people.
During the ancient times peso coins were struck in metals, some in precious metals such as gold, silver etc. to be used, as usual for trade, purchases etc. Now where does the fictional coin comes in, you may ask?
Since this emperor is so loved by its people, on the 100th anniversary of his death, many variations of this coin were produced. You're also to capture as many as possible photos of this coins online in black or white photos, color photos, with details of the coins e.g. size, weight, colour, material and suspected year of strike.
All I can say you can be convincing enough to develop this story in a booklet of a few pages with photos.
Word count 2000 only, with 30~40 random photos of the coin and the emperor's photo and of his time.
Its a fun article and so half truth and half imaginative for my magazine story and be completed in a day or two.
If you have some little numismatic experience (about collecting coins), that would be an added advantage but not necessary. I'm not fussy but I do expect neat work.
