Clinical Operations/Lawyers Needed for Medical AI Company

Overview
We are seeking a committed, experienced, and efficient lawyer/clinical lead in the medical field. NeuraVia, Inc. is a Delaware C-corp company developing AI solutions for neurological healthcare. We are planning to sell in Nigeria and India upon Advarra REB approval in the U.S and Canada.
Applicant must be able to lead and manage a clinical operations team for Advarra REB if situated in North America. If in Nigeria or India, they must be able to lead and manage a clinical operations team for data collection, medical software registration, hospital LOIs, and other legal documents tailored to their respective country.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage NeuraVia’s Clinical Operations & Regulatory Compliance team in your region (North America, Nigeria, or India).
Prepare, draft, and submit protocols and applications to Advarra REB/IRBs.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and U.S./Canadian clinical research standards.
Coordinate with advisors, hospitals, and research sites for ethics approvals.
Manage medical software/device registration with NAFDAC (Nigeria) or CDSCO (India).
Draft, review, and negotiate LOIs, MOUs, and data-sharing agreements with hospitals and clinical partners.
Ensure compliance with local data privacy and medical device laws.
Provide legal guidance for data collection, clinical partnerships, and technology integration.
Collaborate with the executive team to draft policies, maintain risk-mitigation strategies, and align operations with international clinical research standards.
Represent NeuraVia in discussions with regulators, hospitals, and compliance authorities.(Edited)
Experience
Law degree (JD/LLB/LLM) with focus or proven experience in healthcare law, clinical research, or regulatory affairs.
Clinical trial/IRB submissions (for U.S./Canada).
Regulatory filings with CDSCO (India) or NAFDAC (Nigeria).
Drafting hospital or research LOIs, contracts, or compliance documentation.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, coordinate across multiple stakeholders (hospitals, legal counsel, regulators).
Familiarity with data privacy regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, NDPR, India DPDP Act).
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate complex regulations into actionable steps for the team.
Bonus: Previous experience in digital health, AI/medical devices, or SaaS for healthcare.
