Part-Time Senior Java Full-Stack

I need a seasoned full-stack Java engineer with roughly 10–12 years of real-world experience who can step in three days a week and work alongside me remotely. The role spans the full stack: you’ll shape Spring-based APIs, fine-tune Hibernate mappings, write or refactor Java Servlets, and then jump to the UI layer to deliver features in Angular and, when needed, React. Solid database sense is equally important—you should be comfortable designing schemas, writing migrations, and keeping data models in sync with the code.

We’ll collaborate through Git, pull requests, and quick stand-ups over Zoom or Slack. Each Monday I’ll share a short, prioritized backlog; by Friday I expect clean, tested code ready to merge. Clear communication and the confidence to suggest improvements are essential—this isn’t a junior mentoring gig but a peer partnership.

Deliverables each sprint
• Production-ready backend code (Spring Framework, Hibernate, Java Servlets)
• Responsive, accessible components in Angular or React as appropriate
• Updated database scripts and migration files
• Unit and integration tests with passing pipelines

Acceptance criteria
• Code compiles and passes all tests in CI
• Coverage stays steady or improves
• No new critical Sonar or lint issues
• Pull requests reviewed and approved without blocking comments by week’s end
