Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the end-to-end development of Java Spring applications and microservices, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, efficient, and high-quality software solutions.
• Utilize Heroku as the preferred platform for application deployment, configuration, and management.
• Design, optimize, and manage PostgreSQL databases, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
• Implement and leverage AWS services, such as Lambda, S3, RDS, EC2, and others, to enhance application functionality and performance.
• Develop and maintain caching solutions using Redis to optimize data retrieval and application responsiveness.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and overall code quality.
• Investigate and troubleshoot complex technical issues, delivering effective and efficient solutions.
• Stay at the forefront of industry trends and emerging technologies, actively contributing to innovation and technological advancement within the organization.
Key Requirements/Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Extensive experience as a Java Spring developer, with a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in complex software development projects.
• Strong command of the Java programming language and expert knowledge of the Spring framework.
• Proven track record of deploying and managing applications on Heroku, demonstrating familiarity with platform-specific features and best practices.
• In-depth expertise in PostgreSQL database design and performance optimization.
• Proficiency in AWS services, cloud architecture, and deployment methodologies.
