Consulting Engineer for Water-Based Underfloor Heating Installation

Job ID: 37623661

Budget: €18 – €36 EUR

As the property owner, I am installing a water-based (hydronic) underfloor heating system (UFH) in my house (three floors) with a combination of tile, parquet and marble floors. I engaged a physicist to produce a report about the heating requirements of each room and engaged a contractor to perform the work. To date the insulation and pipework have been laid on the first and second floors and the pressure tests have been completed. The top screed on these floors has also be laid - Bevetol SPL plasticized with Polypropylene Fiber.

Whilst the contractor seems to have done a reasonable job it has become evident that they lack knowledge about the basic principles of UFH. Therefore I am looking for a Consulting Engineer to advise on completing the job. This would involve reviewing the proposed pipe layout drawings for the ground floor, making suggestions about commissioning the system and answering my questions.

- Skills and Experience: You should be a qualified engineer with experience in planning, installing and commissioning domestic water-based underfloor heating systems.

Interested experts should submit details of their qualifications and details of similar completed projects.
