Adult Patient Education Content

Job ID: 40138665

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

I’m developing a set of clear, engaging patient-education materials aimed at adults. The goal is to help them better understand and manage their own health, so I need content that speaks in plain language, offers actionable guidance, and can be distributed both digitally and in print.

Scope of the work
• Chronic disease management – explain common conditions (diabetes, hypertension, asthma, etc.), outline daily self-care routines, and highlight warning signs that require medical attention.
• Nutrition & diet – provide balanced meal ideas, portion tips, and label-reading advice that busy adults can realistically follow.
• Mental health – demystify stress, anxiety, and depression, encourage healthy coping strategies, and show when and how to seek professional help.

Format & tone
I’m looking for reader-friendly handouts or short guides (think two-page PDF sheets, infographic style, or slide decks) that blend concise text with supportive visuals or icons. Material must follow plain-language best practices, include culturally sensitive examples, and be fully referenced with credible sources.

Deliverables
1. Draft copy and layout for each of the three topics (editable file + PDF).
2. Final versions ready for professional printing and web upload.
3. A quick style guide so future pieces remain consistent.

Acceptance criteria
• Medical accuracy backed by up-to-date references (APA or AMA style).
• Text written at roughly 6th-grade reading level (Flesch-Kincaid).
• Visuals license-cleared or original.
• All files delivered in editable format (Word, InDesign, or Canva) and PDF.

If you have experience writing patient-facing content, health literacy expertise, and a good design eye, I’d love to see examples of your previous work and hear how you’d approach this project.
