Close And Secure Driveway Gates

Two manual driveway gates at my home blew open in last night’s wind and are now swinging freely. One gate has a built-in latch that engages when the white cross latch is held perfectly horizontal. The second gate simply fits over a ground post with friction—no lock, just a firm push until it’s snug.

I’ll be out of town until tomorrow, so the job is to drop by today, position the white cross latch horizontally as you swing the first gate shut, then seat the second gate onto its post so both stay closed. A quick smartphone photo once they’re secured will let me rest easy.
