Senior Software Engineer – MLOps & Cloud Infrastructure

● Job Description:
I'm looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to handle outsourcing project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and managing cloud infrastructure for machine learning applications, following the MLOps model. This role is fully remote. I'm looking for an Asian developer who is willing to work across EST and PST hours.

● Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure to support machine learning operations (MLOps).
- Design, develop, and implement public and internal APIs.
Create event-driven and streaming-based services for efficient data processing.
- Develop and maintain batch data pipelines for machine learning on massive datasets.
- Build tests and automate deployment pipelines for seamless CI/CD processes.
- Establish robust monitoring and alerting systems for custom infrastructure.
- Investigate and evaluate new cloud services, software tools, APIs, and distributed systems to optimize performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams, including software engineers, data engineers, and client experts, to deliver new product features.
- Enable rapid iteration and high product quality through continuous A/B testing.
- Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end solutions and platforms.
- Work with platform engineers and architects to implement best practices and ensure compliance.

● Who You Are:
- A rock-solid software engineer with demonstrated expertise in enabling MLOps.
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Proficient in CI/CD infrastructure using tools such as Git, Jenkins, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, or Mesos, and related systems.
- Advanced expertise in AWS services, including IAM, ECS/EKS, EMR, S3, and Lambda/Serverless.
- Familiar with infrastructure as code tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Strong programming skills in Python, shell scripting, and SQL.
- Passionate about agile software processes, data-driven development, and responsible experimentation.
- Experienced in using tools like Spark, Databricks, and Snowflake for large-scale data processing.

● Top Must-Have Skills:
- Expertise with AWS services and infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with Spark, Databricks, and Snowflake.
- Strong Python programming and scripting skills.
- Proven experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform/CloudFormation.
- Fluency in English for effective writing and speaking.

● Additional Skills:
- Strong understanding of machine learning workflows and MLOps principles.
- Experience in designing robust APIs and event-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of batch and streaming data processing systems.
