Guidewire ClaimCenter Mentor Needed

Job ID: 40503301

Budget: $8 – $15 USD

I work full-time on a live Guidewire ClaimCenter implementation and regularly handle production incidents—everything from mis-routed documents to integration hiccups. While I can usually patch issues, I want to move beyond quick fixes and truly master the platform.

My immediate focus is on Coding best practices in Gosu. I often find myself guessing when it comes to structuring classes, optimizing performance, or leveraging the framework’s more powerful constructs. To sharpen my skills, I need long-term, hands-on mentoring that covers:

• Advanced features and techniques in Gosu (refactoring pattern code, metaprogramming, performance tuning, and testability)

During our sessions you’ll walk me through real tickets, explain why a particular solution works in ClaimCenter’s architecture, and help me set up repeatable debugging workflows. Clear explanations of how ClaimCenter integrations are wired—and how to keep them resilient in production—are also essential.

You should be an experienced Guidewire professional who has resolved serious production incidents and can communicate concepts in plain language. Our collaboration will be remote, scheduled around critical production windows, and focused on practical, immediately applicable learning. If you enjoy teaching while solving real problems, I’d love to partner with you.
