I am looking for a talented freelancer to create a desktop software Sumo Simulator for me. I have a detailed list of features that I would like the simulator to include and am open to suggestion on the programming language to use. I do not have a preference for which programming language to use, so I would like to hear your input and advice on what language would be best for the project based on your experience.
These are the things I want to do with the sumo simulator. Consider a road traffic situation at a simple intersection. There doesn't need to be many vehicles, one is enough. As these vehicles move, I want to be able to extract their coordinates every second. In the simulation GUI, there are several options for the user to choose from. For example, obstacles such as sinkholes and boxes. If the user clicks on one of these obstacle options, it will create that obstacle in the simulation. A picture of the obstacle will be provided in advance and can be displayed on the simulator. I will use external code to determine if the simulator should detour or change lanes based on the vehicle coordinates and the obstacle coordinates when this obstacle is encountered, and pass on whether to detour or change lanes. We can then take that output and control the vehicle's movement in the simulator to either detour or change lanes. in the simulator.
