Sports IRC, based on HexChat
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
I am looking for someone to help modify the existing code of HexChat.
Knowledge of IRC and HexChat does help greatly as I am not the best at explaining the details of IRC (Internet Relay Chat)
The goal for this is to basically create a /sportsbar command that populates the sportsbar gui area, which sits above or below the topicbar. This sportsbar is the same concept to ESPN Sports Tickers, just looking to create a bar/space within the program somewhere that will continuously loop for updated sports scores.
The concept would be something along the lines of:
* The sportsbar is always disabled
* To enable the sportsbar for specific channels you would type the follow: /sportsbar #channel SPORT [delay]
* The above command would now make the sportsbar appear in the specific channel you mentioned, basically echoing the SPORT you picked on a timer ***
* Don't worry about getting the sports data, I have that portion all covered
* The ability to make the sportsbar double in width would be nice also.
I've attached pictures to help understand what I'm looking for, please only those who understand IRC already, you do not need prior knowledge of HexChat, but it is written in C/C++ and uses GTK2
