WordPress Site Manager for Ongoing Role

We are seeking an ongoing website manager for a WordPress site. This role will handle weekly checks, updates, and improvements. Responsibilities include updating WordPress core, themes, and plugins, ensuring backups are running and tested, monitoring uptime and SSL, and maintaining strong site security. Security is a priority, so we need someone experienced with WordPress hardening, malware scans, access controls, and response planning to keep the site reliable. The person will also manage Gravity Forms, Stripe, and PayPal integrations, ensuring forms and payments work smoothly and securely, with webhook verification and periodic testing. Additional duties include monitoring performance, improving load speed and usability, and making design or UX improvements that help users complete tasks easily. The freelancer should proactively suggest improvements, maintain clear documentation, and support compliance with privacy requirements. The ideal candidate has several years of WordPress experience, strong knowledge of Gravity Forms, Stripe, PayPal, and website security, and is comfortable with staging, testing, and rollback processes. Applicants should be ready to provide examples of their past security work, explain how they verify payment webhooks, and describe their weekly workflow and tools. This is an ongoing part-time engagement with weekly maintenance and ad-hoc project work.
