Senior React Frontend Engineer Needed
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I’m ready to move quickly on a complex front-end build and need a seasoned engineer who lives and breathes React. The core of the job is to take feature specifications and translate them into production-ready components that feel lightning fast and pixel-perfect across modern browsers.
What you’ll be working on
– Building reusable, well-tested React components
– Managing state cleanly (Redux, Context API or your preferred proven approach)
– Integrating REST/GraphQL endpoints and handling real-time updates where required
– Ensuring responsive layouts and smooth interactions, with a keen eye on performance budgets
– Setting up a clean CI/CD pipeline so each merge is automatically linted, tested and deployed
A few things that will make you stand out
– Deep knowledge of ES6+, TypeScript and modern build tooling (Webpack, Vite or similar)
– Proven track record shipping complex SPAs to production
– Strong CSS architecture skills (CSS-in-JS, Tailwind or SASS is fine as long as it scales)
– Comfortable writing unit, integration and E2E tests (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)
Deliverables
1. Fully functional React front-end linked to our existing back-end APIs
2. Complete test coverage for all new components
3. Documentation covering setup, build commands and deployment steps
Acceptance criteria
• All components render without console warnings/errors
• Lighthouse performance score ≥ 90 on desktop and mobile
• All tests pass in the CI pipeline
• Code is reviewed and approved through a pull-request workflow
