Node.js Backend for Mobile App
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I’m finalising the front-end of a native mobile app and now need an experienced Node.js developer to stand up the entire backend.
What I need you to build
• Secure user authentication (JWT or similar) with registration, login, password reset and social-login hooks ready to plug in.
• A clean REST/GraphQL API layer that the iOS/Android client can consume, documented via Swagger or Postman collections.
• MongoDB data storage designed with scalability in mind—proper indexing, validation and aggregation pipelines where performance matters.
• A lightweight integration module so the app can call selected third-party APIs (think payments and geolocation) with graceful error handling.
I will provide wireframes, request/response samples and a private Git repo; you commit clean, well-commented code, unit tests and a short README so another dev can spin the project up with docker-compose in minutes.
Acceptance criteria
• All endpoints return the exact payloads defined in the spec.
• Authentication passes OWASP checks and tokens expire/refresh correctly.
• Automated test suite covers at least 80 % of critical logic.
• The repository builds and runs locally with one command.
