E-Commerce Add-Ons & Discount Code System

We're looking to develop two new features for our e-commerce platform: discount codes/coupons and add-on services, to enhance customer engagement and sales.
Scope of work
- Develop a discount code system applicable to partner-originated purchases, special requests, and campaigns, funded by sellers, our business, and partners.
- Create a platform for selling add-on services, with both seller-assigned base costs and our additional fee, ensuring flexibility to create these services based on our business rules.

Technical Requirements
-NestJS (Microservices)
-Experience designing and refactoring microservice-based architectures.
-Building and consuming microservices with synchronous communication (REST/GraphQL) and asynchronous communication (messaging/events).
-Advanced handling of Modules, Providers, Guards, Interceptors, and Pipes.
-TypeORM
-Query and relationship optimization in MySQL databases.
-Data migrations and refactoring of existing entities.
-Experience mapping complex relationships.

-Designing and normalizing schemas related to discount rules.
Index management and query optimization at large data volumes.
Ability to adapt the existing schema to new business rules without compromising integrity.
GraphQL
Creating and refactoring schemas, queries, and mutations to expose the discount module’s features.
Resolver development integrated with microservices and databases.
Optimization with DataLoader and permission control at the resolver level.
