The purpose of my idea is to allow people to create their very own realistic videos, which they can make to their favorite songs, movie scenes, book, plays, or anything they want to. Today, there are a lot of people who enjoy watching the music videos to their favorite songs and wish they could make their own video to that song. Because there is not a specific platform for this, many people record themselves lip syncing to their favorite songs on platforms like Snapchat, Instagram and even Tic Tok. The idea of my app is almost like Snapchat. For example, snapchat gives you access to different features that change your appearance and the way things look around you called filters. This app would almost do the same, it would give the user access to different "filters" that will allow them to create their own videos and create and change any landscape or background behind them. For example, if a person in their bedroom wants to make a video with the background resembling Mars, or the beach etc., it’s all possible to make it really look that way with this app.
It’s difficult for me to relate my idea to another app, because I want much more than what has ever been done; and that’s the most important element of the app. There are a lot of people who want to be in their own music video, but don't rap or sing, people who want to make their own short films but can’t access the editing they need to bring the film to life. The whole idea of a music video is to give others a visual of how they interpret a song or what the song means to them. With this app, I want to give people the ability to change and interpret the world around them, one video at a time.
