tech pack flats
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I am looking for a freelancer who can create tech pack flats for my clothing design project. The purpose of these tech pack flats is for design documentation. I already have the flats and the story board and the fabrics. I just need help laying it all out.
Color story inspiration board created in Photoshop using stock photography or your own images (one page) (place into Adobe Illustrator)
Original fabric board (one page) (scan or photographs of your original fabrics)
Recolored fabric board with color story and color names (one page)
Black-and-white flats page with space for the following (one page):
Front and back flats
Zoom views
Reference image
Header/footer
Description
Line sheet, leaving space for at least two colorways (one page) (At least one garment should be colored for now.)
Illustration layouts (two pages) (one page for each illustration, including flats and fabric swatches). Include what you have started for both illustrations in your template.
Note: Make sure flats are in proportion to your illustrations.
Template for your tech pack, which will include the following (four pages):
Front and back flats with callouts (page 1)
Zoom views of at least two (2) details (pages 2 and 3)
Note: Zoom views should also include measurements and callouts. At least one zoom view should be an alternative view not seen on the front or back flats.
Trim Page
Note: Create space for each material, trim, and thread you anticipate will be used in the garment. Add a column for each colorway.
Ideal skills and experience:
- Experience in creating tech pack flats for clothing design
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting design specifications
