I need a woodworker to build my dream engagement idea
Budget: $750 – $1,500 AUD
The idea I’m going for, is to have the main chest/box. Small enough to fit as a centre piece on a shelf. I’d like 3 locks built into the front. Each key will also have their own mini box to fit snug into. I’ll then send these keys to my 3 mates in different country’s.
Inside the box will hold my engagement ring.
I’d like to experiment with the woods or get recommendations on what would look best.
My home furniture, is mostly a lighter wood or beachy style if that makes sense. But I’m open to suggestions.
The design out side of the box doesn’t have to be anything grand, just a small burnings of the things I want said.
The inside is where I have trouble brainstorming ideas, as I’m not sure what is possible and what is not. All I want though, is for the engagement ring to be the centre piece once it’s opened for the first time. A lot of effort will go into finally opening the box. As I plan to send the 3 keys to my friends over sees, where I will one day collect them with my future wife.
