1. Project Overview
We (Comfort Home) sponsor local events where we can promote our job vacancies. We need three pieces of visual communication that share the same look and feel but have different sizes and formats. These marketing materials must drive viewers to scan a QR code that links to our vacancies page:
https://www.comfort-home.be/vacatures
Since the banners are often viewed from a distance (and often very briefly), the design must be simple, clear, and easily readable. Minimal text, large fonts, and strong contrasts are essential.

2. Objectives and Key Message
1. Promote Vacancies: Encourage potential applicants to learn about and apply for our open positions.
2. Call to Action (CTA): A large, visible QR code that directs people to our vacancy page.
3. Brand Consistency: Present Comfort Home as a professional, inviting employer.

3. Deliverables
You will provide three final designs:
1. Bouwhekdoek (Construction Fence Banner)
o Dimensions: 338 x 174 cm
o Final artwork size (based on attached template guidelines): 3400 x 1760 mm
o Keep important elements (text, logos) well within the safety margins (at least 5 cm from edges/rings).
o The banner will have rings around the edges (approximately every 30 cm).
2. Dranghekdoek (Crowd Control Barrier Banner)
o Dimensions: 215 x 73 cm
o Final artwork size: 2170 x 750 mm
o Keep important elements within the safety margins (similarly 5 cm from edges/rings).
3. Roll-up Banner
o Dimensions: 120 x 200 cm (visible area)
o Follow the attached roll-up template for final size and safe areas.
o Typically, the bottom area (±10 cm) is not visible once the banner is set up; avoid placing critical text/logos there.
File Requirements for All Three:
• Color Mode: CMYK
• Minimum Resolution: 150 dpi (300 dpi preferred for crisp large-scale printing)
• File Format: High-resolution PDF, PDF/X-1a:2001 preferred (no crop marks, no extra bleed beyond template).
• Fonts: Convert all fonts to outlines, or embed fonts in the PDF.
• Ink Coverage: Max 280% total ink coverage.
• Rich Black: C50, M40, Y40, K100 for large black areas only.

4. Design & Layout Guidelines
a) Look & Feel
• Consistent Branding: Use the same color scheme, font styles, and imagery across all three banners so they look related.
• Bold and Clear: Large headlines, minimal text, strong contrast (e.g., dark text on light background or vice versa).
• Dutch Text: The final copy on each banner must be in Dutch.
b) Suggested Text
You can adjust phrasing as you see fit, but keep it short and impactful. Example:
Headline:
“Breng een frisse wind in jouw carrière bij Comfort Home!”
Subtext:
“Opleiding inbegrepen. Jouw groeikansen zijn eindeloos.”
Call-to-Action:
“Scan de QR-code en solliciteer direct!”
Include the Comfort Home logo and a prominent QR code that links to comfort-home.be/vacatures.
c) Visual Elements
• A clean background that allows the text to stand out.
• Possibly include subtle imagery related to the nature of our services or a welcoming team environment (e.g., a friendly group photo or a relevant icon), but do not clutter the layout.
• Emphasize the QR code sufficiently so it is easy to spot and scan from a distance.
d) Font & Text Size
• Use font sizes that remain legible from several meters away. A minimum of 15 pt is recommended for large-scale banners (often going bigger, like 40–60 pt for headlines, to ensure visibility).
• Avoid overly decorative typefaces that reduce legibility. Stick to a clean, sans-serif font for the main messaging.
e) White Space & Hierarchy
• Keep plenty of empty space around the key message and the QR code.
• Prioritize the headline, QR code, and possibly a short supporting line or job benefit.

5. Technical & Printing Instructions
1. Safe Margins & Bleed: Respect all technical guides (e.g., 5 cm from edges to avoid ring placements on text/logos). Use the provided templates as layers or guidelines if applicable.
2. Check Overprint: Ensure any white text or shapes do not use overprint, which can make them disappear in final print.
3. File Submission: Supply each banner design as a separate PDF. Clearly label them (e.g., Bouwhekdoek_338x174cm_Design.pdf, Dranghekdoek_215x73cm_Design.pdf, Rollup_120x200cm_Design.pdf).

6. Timeline & Milestones
1. Concept Sketch / Draft: Provide your initial concepts (layout, color usage, placeholder text) for each of the three formats.
2. Feedback & Revisions: We will give consolidated feedback; you update designs accordingly.
3. Final Artwork: Once approved, deliver the final production-ready PDFs.

7. Evaluation Criteria
• Clarity and Readability: Is the design easy to read from a distance?
• Brand Consistency: Do the colors, fonts, and style match across all three formats?
• Effective Call to Action: Is the QR code and message engaging and prominent?
• Professionalism: Proper color management, correct file output, no layout errors.

8. Budget & Compensation
Please provide:
• Cost for designing all three items (as a set).
• Three Revisions per design included in that cost.
• Any Additional Fees (if applicable).
