mail package design

Create a multi-piece mail package that includes a "stuffer"--something extra included in the package. You'll also use a die-cut on at least one portion of your design. You have free reign on this design--it can be any size, format, or shape you want as long as it can be mailed.

The main design piece can be a "self-mailer" where the page folds into itself to a mailable size. Or it can use a separate mailing envelope. Either way, be sure to follow USPS mailing regulations. You will also design a stuffer that can either be affixed to the mail piece or loose in the envelope. The stuffer should relate to your campaign and appeal to your audience (a gift card, coupon, magnet, event ticket, etc).

This is only the first draft of your final piece--it does not need to be fully complete. You will receive instructor feedback in Week 6 and the final design will be due Week 7. However, at the very minimum your draft must have:

rough layout containing placeholder text and images
color scheme and font selection
die cut included on a separate layer
notes regarding your plans for future design elements
