longterm freelance UI/UX Designer for Digital Health Startup

Hello, I am the co-founder of a leading digital health startup based in Austria and we are looking for a freelance designer who can support us 20+ hours per week.

Brief description
We are on the lookout for a talented UI/UX Designer - someone who thrives in crafting modern, clean, and intuitive designs suitable for a diverse range of mobile and web applications in the healthcare space. If you have a passion for turning innovative ideas into cohesive and captivating user experiences, this role might just be for you.

Responsibility
As our UI/UX Designer, your core responsibilities will be:

- Collaborating with product owners and developers to define and implement innovative solutions for product visuals and user experience.
- Conceptualizing original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design challenges.
Crafting wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Designing user interfaces for health applications, ensuring the responsiveness and consistency across various devices.
- Conducting user research and evaluating user feedback to iterate and improve designs.
- Staying abreast of UI/UX trends and best practices, as well as the latest tools and technologies in mobile design.
- Establishing and promoting design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
Qualifications
- Proven UI/UX design experience with a portfolio showcasing mobile application projects.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe AE (e.g. for small Lottie animations) and others.
- A keen eye for aesthetics combined with a deep understanding of mobile-specific functionalities.
- Excellent communication skills to convey design ideas and collaborate with various teams.
- Experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and prototyping.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a forward-thinking approach.
