home redesign

Job ID: 37244361

Budget: £20 – £250 GBP

It's time to spruce up my home and I'm looking for a talented and creative freelancer to help me with an awesome home redesign project (layout change / redesign)! The budget for this project is around £40-50k. I have a specific style or theme in mind that I'd like the freelancer to incorporate into their design. Specifically, I'd like the freelancer to update and refresh multiple rooms within my home. I'm focusing on the ground floor(downstairs area) only for now.

I have seen very modern styles, where the front door is moved to be able to view the back garden bifold doors straight from the front of the house as you walk in through the door.

The kitchen would need to be closed off somehow. So the food smell doesn't travel around the home like it is currently closed off via french doors. But perhaps the layout / size could change to make it better.

Currently the space downstairs is very tight which is the issue. We have a conservatory, but that is just a useless dead space for a treadmill and clothing to dry. If we could somehow get space for another room that could be used as a workspace/guest area also that would be good.

I just don't know how to reconfigure the layout in a cost effective manner that will give us those extra bits. With that modern feel. Storage is also lacking downstairs, we just have that under stairs room, which is tiny.

I'm open to the freelancer's creative ideas.

The measurements/floorplan were taken via a mobile app, so the measurements might be inaccurate. But the layout is more important. I've attached the floor plan of the ground floor and some potential design styles I like.

I just want someone who can show me a better layout for the ground floor within a £50k budget, that will:
- give me an extra room downstairs (separate guest area / work office (or even a 2 in 1)
- nice kitchen that contains the cooking smells (even if it has to be moved)
- better layout so the when you walk in the house there is a clear view all the way through to the back (preferably bi-folding doors at the back, nice kitchen window big).

Multiple versions/designs for the layout would be great. Gives me more than one idea to use.
