Re-design app screen

We have been building an app for a couple of years now and are nearing completion.
There are a few screens that I want reimagined. I'm actually a designer myself but am drawing blanks on how best to redesign these screens. They need to be modern, classy and user friendly for quick navigation.

An example is attached.
