Wedding Announcement & Invitation Insert Design
Budget: $100 – $125 USD
My fiancé and I are looking for someone to design our wedding announcement and a small wedding invitation insert. Here are a few details of the project and elements that we’re hoping to have included:
Wedding Announcement Specifications:
* Size: We would like a foldable card that fits snugly inside a 5”x7” envelope.
* Card Cover: We would like a simple drawing of North America and South America on the cover, without any words. (I’m from Utah in the United States and my fiancé from Bolivia, so perhaps we have those two locations marked on the map with small hearts or something? We’re open to other creative ideas here.)
* Inside Card Left: We would like a cartoon drawing of the two of us in our wedding clothes. (I will provide reference photos to assist in drawing cartoons that somewhat resemble us.) We would also like to include a title at the top of the announcement, above the cartoon drawing. (I have the exact text to be used and will provide that prior to designing the invitation.)
* Inside Card Right: We would like our names in big letters at the top of the right-hand side, and then the details of the wedding announcement will be written in both Spanish and English below that. We’re thinking of two columns below our names, with the Spanish text on the left and the English on the right. (I have the exact text to be used and will provide that prior to designing the invitation.)
Wedding Invitation Insert Specifications:
* We would like the small wedding invitation insert to be roughly 3”x5” but are open to other size recommendations. (The insert can be designed horizontally or vertically, whichever you feel will look best given the content that will be on it.
* The insert will have a short quote at the top, followed by the date, time, and location of the wedding. Lastly, there will be a few lines of additional information. (Again, I have the exact text to be used and will provide that prior to designing the invitation.)
We are open to recommendations as far as fonts, colors, and other design elements go for both the wedding announcement and the invitation insert. We just ask that they be cohesive and look & feel like they go together.
