UX/UI Web Designer for Simple Sites - AI Proficient Designer (Front End Dev a Plus!)

Job ID: 39394747

Budget: $8 – $15 USD

We are searching for a Web Designer with a clean style of design who is intimately familiar with UX/UI and at the same time can handle complex design tasks in very short order. Anyone who also has skills in Front-End Dev (taking their designs and implementing them in JSX and TSX files) would definitely be a bonus to our needs and therefore highly prioritized.

Most of the work will involve building 3 rather simple sites that have a common look & feel sites often seen in the development community. As an example, here are three examples that share our style specifications:

https://ui.aceternity.com/
https://ui.shadcn.com/
https://www.prisma.io/

You should be very familiar with building similar types of websites, and at the same time 100% comfortable working in Figma directly as a user in OUR account. Therefore, you should be connected to the internet and be able to work under our observations in real-time. If you cannot work from our Figma account or do not have a full-time connection to the Internet, please DO NOT apply.

Additionally, you must be extremely familiar with AI Tools that are out there and have integrated them into your own process and workflow in order to achieve maximum output in short periods of time. We encourage you to use the AI tools and expect you to do so in order to help make your work meet our standards.

Other positives or pluses would be the ability to transfer your designs into Front-end Developed files such as JSX and TSX, an outstanding knowledge of TailwindCSS, and having worked in tools like Cursor and Windsurf (in addition to VS Code). If you have done any of this and know how to use GitHub proficiently, I would strongly suggest that you mention that in your response. Priority will be given to Creatives who know their way around Front-end Development.

For submission of URLS, pay close attention. If you submit a bunch of slop that is not representative of the sample designs we posted above, your bid will be disregarded completely. You may submit up to a maximum of 3 URLs for us to review, and the work should be an example that fits well or closely matches the style of the examples I have provided. In fact, the 3 URLs don't even need to be your work, but they should show the same style and spirit of design that closely matches our examples. The key here is that you do not submit more than 3, and that you explain why you feel these URLs are complementary to our examples.

We are looking for designers who understand good UI/UX, have good typography skills, and can assemble complex user experiences (such as forms with many fields, basic motions, compelling layouts with obvious CTAs). You must really show that you understand the keys of modern design and can adapt to the needs of fairly complex layouts, even making suggestions to simplify the user experience or to offer beneficial ideas as you go through the project.

Seriously, read through this project and make sure that you fully understand what and who we are looking for. Just submitting without considering or "auto-bids" will be shut down immediately. To show that you understand, please start your bid with the name "Captain Blood: We want people who can not only create good design but also think like a contemporary designer. We are also planning to hire 2 or more individuals for this project, depending on the quality of the submissions.

Again, you must be able to work online from our Figma account. If you happen to have a GitHub User ID, be sure to provide it, as we highly value those who have progressed their skills to go beyond the typical design-only type of projects. This is a big opportunity as we plan to keep the individuals hired very busy and develop a long-term working relationship.
