Typeset Grades 6-9 Math and Science Workbooks
Budget: ₹100 – ₹400 INR
I have a series of Math and Science study companions for Grades 6–9 that need to move from raw manuscript to print-ready, student-friendly workbooks. Students will complete exercises directly on the page and later enter their responses on our Dynamind platform, so every spread must balance generous writing space with clear academic formatting.
Here’s the scope:
• You will flow curriculum content—formulas, step-by-step problems, explanatory text, and answer boxes—into InDesign (or a comparable professional layout tool).
• Diagrams, tables, and charts appear throughout; they must sit cleanly on the grid while staying legible in black-and-white as well as colour.
• Math and science notation needs to be handled flawlessly, including fractions, exponents, chemical equations, and labeled figures.
• The existing house guidelines cover fonts, colour palette, and basic margin structure, but they leave plenty of room for you to refine hierarchy and establish rock-solid consistency across grades.
• Every finished file should export to high-resolution PDF with printers’ bleeds and preflight checks passed.
Deliverables per book
1. Editable InDesign package with linked assets.
2. Print-ready PDF (CMYK, 300 dpi, bleed).
3. Updated mini-style sheet documenting any decisions that extend our current guidelines.
If you have textbook or workbook experience, especially in STEM subjects, I’d love to see examples. Familiarity with math typesetting plugins or LaTeX-to-InDesign workflows is a plus, but clear, tidy, consistent page design is what matters most.
Let me know how you would approach one sample chapter and your typical turnaround per 32-page section so we can schedule the full grade set.
