Tropical Airbnb Website with Video on the water

Job ID: 40202544

Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD

I’m launching a boutique Airbnb property in Bocas del Toro and need a polished, tropical-themed website that instantly transports visitors to the islands. The look should feel high-end yet relaxed—think vibrant palettes, lush imagery, and smooth micro-animations that echo the Caribbean vibe.

Core pages & features I want live on day one:
• Home – a striking hero video that auto-plays muted, a brief welcome message, and a clean top-level menu for easy navigation.
• Gallery – fast-loading photo grids and short embedded reels to showcase rooms, common areas, and our waterfront views.
• Booking – integrated calendar/availability and direct reservation form that can sync with Airbnb or another channel manager.
• Tours & Excursions – space for curated day-trip packages, each with images, video snippets, and an enquiry CTA.

Technical notes
• Fully responsive design (mobile visitors are our majority).
• Simple CMS back-end so I can swap photos, add new excursion videos, or adjust rates without touching code. WordPress, Webflow, or a similarly user-friendly platform works—open to your recommendation.
• Fast page loads despite heavy media; please optimize video delivery (lazy-load, compressed formats, CDN if needed).
• Basic SEO setup: meta tags, alt text on images, and clean URL structure focused on “Bocas del Toro Airbnb.”

Acceptance criteria
1. All four sections function and display correctly on desktop, tablet, and phone.
2. Hero video plays smoothly across modern browsers, with fallback image for slow connections.
3. Booking form submits successfully and triggers confirmation email.
4. PageSpeed Insights mobile score of 85+ after media is in place.

If you have a portfolio with visually rich, hospitality-focused sites, I’d love to see it. Let’s craft a site that makes guests hit “Book now” the moment the palm leaves start swaying on their screen.
