Textbook - Graphic Design Job - Trim Size Alteration

This is Evan from Themantic Education.
We are a company that produces Educational Resources such as textbooks for schools and students for High School level.
We currently have a job that we need completed involving some Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop / PDF Reader work.
We have a textbook that has already been created, designed and completed with a Trim Size of 195mm x 264mm. This size is not compatible with a Print on Demand company that we wish to use, so we need to edit the book that we have from 195mm x 264mm to a different size. The whole book is 542 pages.
First, as a sample, before we choose the freelancer we are happy to work with, we would like to receive sample from prospective freelancers of a few pages, and for them to send that through as an example.
The sample will be the cover page and 10 pages of the first chapter. This is the initial Micro Project.
Later, we will ask the successful applicant to redesign and change the Trim Size for the entire book that is 542 pages. We have the originals in PDF and Adobe Illustrator format to share later.
After looking at this could you please give us:
- expected timeline to redesign/change the Trim Size for a PDF for 10 pages.
- expected fee for this small micro job
- expected timeline, hours to complete the whole project of 542 pages
- expected cost for whole book, whole project
