Budget: $5,000 – $10,000 USD

IT system for a transportation company.
Website – the main element of the project. Here you can create a user account.
Two types of users: customer and driver.
When registering, the customer must provide:
First name, last name, phone number, address, email address, postal code, credit card number, gender, age.
The administrator can enable or disable specific types of customer data as required or optional. Initially, the card number will not be required, but over time it will become a prerequisite for registration.
Drivers must provide the same information as customers, plus car details: make, color, year, number of passengers, languages, fuel type, and possible payment methods: cash, card, Blik. Drivers will need to be verified by the administrator.
On the website tabs:
- home page with a description of the business
- customer zone
- driver zone
- work
- contact
Customer zone – here the customer can view their trips and edit their data.
Driver zone – here the driver can view their trips and settlements with the system operator. Settlements are the amount resulting from completed trips and the agreed commission. The commission can be marked as paid or to be paid by the operator.
Work – this is a subpage with information about driver recruitment and an application form. The form data is the same as when creating a user-driver account.
Applications:
This can be a single application, but with a choice of user type module at the beginning – driver or customer.
Functionalities of individual applications or modules:
Customer application:
As in Bolt or Uber – the customer enters the destination address, the starting address is taken from the current location of the phone with the possibility of editing. The application selects the best route like Google Maps and calculates the length of the route. The suggested price is calculated based on the length of the route. The suggested price consists of a fixed component plus the number of kilometers multiplied by the kilometer rate. The more kilometers, the lower the kilometer rate.
The administrator can set the fixed component and the kilometer rate for different route lengths. For example, up to 3 km - rate of $1.20/km, 3-10 km - rate of $1.70, etc.
After selecting the route and reviewing the proposed price, the customer places an order for the given price or edits it and then places an order specifying the date and time of travel, by default immediately, and the form of payment. They can specify their own price or send an offer without a price.
Driver app – when a customer places an order, the driver app displays a notification on the driver's phone screen that there is a request with a suggested price (or without a price if the customer has not provided one) and the starting location and time of the trip. The driver can click on this notification, which opens an app with a map showing the route, the customer's name, and the proposed price if the customer has provided it. Here, the driver has the following options:
- approve the trip at the proposed price – the app then calculates the time it will take the driver to reach the starting point of the trip and sends this information to the customer
- suggest your own price – the driver enters a satisfactory price for the ride and the duration of the offer and sends this data to the customer; in the case of an immediate ride, the customer also receives information about how far away the driver is (time calculated by the app) here, the customer can respond by giving their price, then the driver can again confirm the ride or edit the price again and send it to the customer with the duration of the new offer; the number of such steps is determined by the administrator
- reject – closes the auction

Customer application – creates a list of offers sent by drivers sorted from the lowest, the customer has a specified time (which can be set by the administrator) to select an offer or edit their price and send it back to the drivers who sent the offers. Drivers can lower their price, and the customer can choose one of the offers at any time, closing the auction.
Ultimately, when the offer is approved, a fee of this amount will be charged to the customer's credit card. However, at the beginning of the system's operation, no fee will be charged. The customer will pay the driver before the trip.
The customer may choose not to select any driver – the auction disappears after clicking cancel, or after the auction time specified by the administrator has elapsed. Despite the end of the auction, the customer has the option to select an offer whose time specified by the driver has not yet expired.
