Synth Logo, Editor & Prototype

Job ID: 40521040

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I’m putting together a brand-new hardware synth and need three connected pieces of work to bring the idea to life.

First, the visual identity: the logo should feel modern and sleek, suitable for use on the front panel, website and packaging. I’ll need the usual vector files (AI/SVG) plus PNGs in various sizes, with a simple style guide covering colours and type choices.

Second, a Mac-based editor/librarian. It has to let users tweak all synth parameters, save patches locally, and push firmware updates over USB or MIDI. I’m happy for you to use Swift, C++ with JUCE, or any framework you’re comfortable with, provided the final app is a native macOS build, codesigned and ready for notarisation. UI can mirror the hardware panel or explore something cleaner; I just want it intuitive and responsive.

Finally, the working prototype. I have schematics and a parts list ready; I need you to fabricate the PCB, assemble the unit, load the current firmware and verify that every control maps correctly. Clean wiring, labelled connections and a short build log (photos + notes) will be required so we can repeat the process later at scale.

Deliverables
• Modern, sleek logo package (AI/SVG + PNG, colour specs)
• macOS synth editor app (source code, compiled .app, brief user guide)
• Fully assembled, tested hardware prototype with build documentation

There’s no strict deadline, so quality comes first; milestones and shipping dates can be agreed together. Let me know which parts you’d like to tackle, or if you’re able to take the whole lot end-to-end, and tell me about any similar audio or hardware projects you’ve handled so I can gauge fit.
