Create 10km & 20km Veterinary Clinic Radius Combined Map (VSOS)
Project Description:
We need an experienced GIS/cartography freelancer to produce a high-resolution wall-poster-ready map showing all veterinary clinics and hospitals within 10km and 20km of VSOS (106 Parraweena Rd, Miranda NSW 2228).
Deliverables:
Print-ready PDFs sized 1500mm wide × 1200mm high
Clean, light basemap (streets & suburbs)
Radius circle(s) at 10km and 20km
Clinic pins colour-coded (within 10km; 10–20km)
Legend listing clinic names only (no map labels)
VSOS logo at centre point
Matched titles: “VSOS Referral Network – Sydney”
Final PDFs must be vector where possible; high DPI for large format print
Skills required:
QGIS or equivalent
OpenStreetMap / Overpass API
Cartographic design
Print layout export
Files provided:
VSOS logo (high-resolution PNG)

I need a high-resolution map of greater Sydney centred on VSOS (106 Parraweena Rd, Miranda NSW 2228) that I can print at 1500 mm × 1200 mm and mount on the wall. The map must follow a modern, clean aesthetic and clearly draw a 10 km radius around the hospital; a second, fainter ring at 20 km should also appear so the viewer can see both catchment zones at a glance.
Every vet clinic and veterinary hospital that falls within the 20 km area should be plotted. Please differentiate clinic pins from hospital pins with distinct colours and include a clear legend headed “Within 10 km” and “From 10–20 km”. The VSOS location itself should be marked with our logo in place of a standard pin.
Because the final artwork will be enlarged, I’ll need it supplied as a layered, print-ready PDF (minimum 300 dpi at final size) plus the original working file in Illustrator or similar vector format so we can make future edits.
