Suffering builds souls

I'd like a t-shirt designed around the phrase "suffering builds souls." Think of men like Theodore Roosevelt cutting his way through the Amazon, or Sir Edmund Hillary ascending Everest. I like these two attached shirts in terms of their style. The ideal shirt would feature a well known adventurer from history, or a character representing adventure, and feature that phrase prominently. The logo for the Anthem of the Adventurer should also be featured. It could be on a flag, the side of a sign, an old Land Rover in the jungle, etc. Get creative! The final shirt should be in a light cream colored ink on an olive green background, so make sure the artwork will look good in a monochromatic scheme.
