Substack Publication Graphic Design
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a graphic designer for a small project to create four images for a new Substack publication I’m launching. I’ve provided a lot of detail below, believing it will simply the design process.
Elements to be created:
• Logo: 256 x 256 pixels.
• Navigation Bar Image (Wordmark): Substack calls this navigation bar image a “Wordmark”. It is an image that appears above the navigation bar on the Substack website. Minimum 1344 x 256 pixels; Max aspect ratio 21:4.
• Welcome Page Cover Image/Graphic/Picture: Dimensions are 600 x 600 pixels minimum.
• Email Banner Image: This image appears at the top of emails sent from the site to subscribers and potential subscribers. It has to be 1100 x 220 pixels PNG.
I've got a document attached with examples of Logos, Wordmarks, and Welcome Page Cover Images from existing Substack sites. It also gives examples of things I like and don't like and colors I prefer. Finally, the attached document has a brief summary of the kind of content that will appear on my Substack site.
I'm thinking this is 5 hours or less of work, but open to hearing thoughts from designers on this.
