Sports Roster Screenshot Sharing App
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
I run several sports teams and need a streamlined way to turn my game-day lineups into polished graphics I can push straight to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, my website, or a downloadable PDF. The goal is a lightweight app that lets me build a roster once, drag players into a starting lineup, and press a single button to export that lineup in the correct dimensions and resolution for each platform.
Core workflow I have in mind
• Enter or import player data (name, position, jersey number, photo).
• Assemble a lineup for a specific match.
• Hit “Share” and instantly receive:
– An image sized for Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram feeds and stories
– An embeddable web asset or code snippet for my site
– A print-ready PDF
Essential touches
• Simple brand theming: pick team colours, add a logo or sponsor strip, and have those elements automatically appear in every export.
• Basic storage of past lineups so I can pull them back up or clone them for the next match.
• Room to grow into deeper stat tracking later, but screenshots of lineups come first.
• Cross-platform delivery (web-based, Flutter, React Native, or any stack you prefer) as long as I end up with a smooth experience on both iOS and Android.
Acceptance criteria for this first release
1. I can create a roster and save it locally or in the cloud.
2. I can build a lineup from that roster and preview the final graphic before export.
3. One tap produces shareable assets for all three social channels, a web version, and a PDF without extra tweaking.
4. The exported images look crisp on modern devices and meet each platform’s current size guidelines.
5. Source code, a brief setup guide, and a short video demo land in my inbox at handover.
If you have previous examples of sports or graphic-generation apps, I’d love to see them. Let me know what tech stack you’d choose and how quickly you can deliver an MVP that hits the five points above.
