Sock Designer
Budget: $3 – $20 USD
Exotic Socks is seeking a highly creative and talented Sock Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating all of our sock designs, with a focus on weed (pot) themes. The first project will be to create a total of 20 sock designs, starting with five weed-themed sport sock designs that incorporate team colors but do not include any logos to avoid trademark infringement.
As the Sock Designer, you will be expected to have a strong understanding of fashion and design trends, with a particular focus on weed-themed designs. You will be responsible for creating visually appealing and innovative sock designs that appeal to our target audience. You should be comfortable working independently and meeting tight deadlines. In addition, you should be skilled in creating dielines and 3D mockups for our manufacturer and website.
Your responsibilities will include:
Creating original sock designs with a weed (pot) theme that align with our brand and target audience
Incorporating team colors into weed-themed sport sock designs, without including any logos
Researching fashion and design trends to inform your designs, with a particular focus on weed themes
Presenting design concepts and mockups to the team for feedback and approval
Collaborating with other members of the design team to ensure consistent brand messaging and aesthetic
The first set of socks we want designed are sport style. We are starting with Football and Basketball and want specific team colors and designs that relate to the teams without infringing on their logos or mascots. The football teams are The Dallas Cowboys, The New England Patriots, The Pittsburg Steelers, The San Francisco 48ers, and The Green Bay Packers. The basketball teams are The Golden State Warriors, The Los Angeles Lakers, The Chicago Bulls, The Boston Celtics, and The Miami Heat.
We also want to do socks with funny, catchy, funky phrases on the bottom. The phrases are:

Put Your Best Foot Forward and Screw the Rest
Feet Don't Fail Me Now

Note: Phrases 3 and 7 will be toeless socks, and for phrase 8, we want the design to have weed leaf clouds, happy faces, etc. For phrase 10, we want peace symbols and blunts.
