Seeking packaging and label design for quick hire and ongoing work

We are currently seeking a packaging and label designer for our food supplement business. The person in this role will work collaboratively with the production team to provide a competitive advantage in the product design space.

The ideal candidate will be able to develop design solutions compatible with our current manufacturing capabilities and proactively identify and recommend improvements for key accounts.

Responsibilities:
- Design a variety of given projects within specified brand standards and adjust to recommended revisions
- Performance-driven design and creation of assets for marketing, print, and digital
- Work with the production team to ideate and design labels/packaging for new/existing products while ensuring consistency of brand identity
- Proofreading and preparing designs to be sent to print/web
- Perform other job-related duties as required

Skills and experience:
- Minimum of associate’s degree in graphic arts or design
- Portfolio demonstration of strong design skills and technique is required
- Strong creative and visual design skills with major attention to detail
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Professional experience in packaging and labelling
- Ability to take direction from others on concepts and design, and implement them to final output
- Ability to multi-task simultaneous ongoing projects with strong time management skills
- Work collaboratively with the ability to express design concepts to others
- Ability to join our team in Slack
