PROJECT OVERVIEW
We are seeking a skilled Adobe Illustrator freelancer to professionally redraw the design of an award medal. This medal is presented annually to outstanding employees in law enforcement and security organizations throughout Hawaii.

PROJECT BACKGROUND
The current medal design combines AI-generated imagery, bitmap-to-vector traces, hand-drawn elements, and clip art—resulting in a look the client generally likes, but which contains several technical flaws. These issues must be addressed to achieve a clean, professional appearance suitable for consistent production of physical medals.
SCOPE OF WORK
You will redraw the existing design while preserving its overall look and layout. Specific updates include:
1. Eagle – Redraw using clean, single-width lines. Wings, tail feathers, and talons can be mirrored for symmetry. Enlarge the eagle slightly within the shield.
2. Claws (Talons) – Redesign with a more realistic shape. Reference examples are provided.
3. Key – Redraw using a single-width line. Reduce its size.
4. Document (Scroll) – Redraw using a single-width line and make it larger.
5. Shield – Update the bottom corners to be rounded.
6. Kapu Sticks – Redraw for greater realism. Reference images are provided.
7. Leaves (Main) – Redraw using clean, single-width lines. Eliminate all shading and 3D effects. Use mirrored symmetry.
8. Leaves (Under Stars) – Apply the same technique as the main leaves.
9. Stars – Redraw with uniform single-width lines and a consistent color. Remove 3D effects.

• Final vector artwork in AI format
