Job Title: Laravel & PHP Web Designer (Booking Management Portal Redesign)
Overview:
We are seeking a talented Laravel and PHP web designer to collaborate with our in-house developer to redesign and enhance the current design of our booking management portal. The application is built on the Laravel framework, and the redesign must improve the user experience while maintaining the functionality of the system. The web designer will work directly with our in-house developer via Anydesk to ensure seamless integration and development. The project must be completed by the end of October. The designer is required to work during UK hours from 9am till 6pm.
Project Scope:
- Redesign the existing Laravel-based web application with a modern, responsive, and user-friendly design.
- The portal consists of 4 entities, but the overall design for all entities will be identical, ensuring a consistent and cohesive user interface (UI).
- The designer must work on our local systems through a secure connection (Anydesk), collaborating closely with our in-house developer.
- Our in-house developer speaks Punjabi and Urdu, if required for communication purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design Enhancement:
- Propose and implement an improved UI/UX design for the booking management portal, adhering to modern web design principles.
- Ensure the new design is responsive across all devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).
- Create a clean, intuitive, and user-friendly layout that enhances the user experience without sacrificing functionality.
- Maintain a uniform design across the 4 entities while allowing for specific branding elements if required.
2. Collaboration & Implementation:
- Work closely with our in-house developer via Anydesk to ensure the new design integrates smoothly with the existing backend.
- Ensure the redesign process is fully collaborative and transparent, providing regular updates and revisions as needed.
- Coordinate with the developer to implement design changes directly within our development environment.
3. Security & Local Development:
- All work will be carried out on our local systems to ensure security and direct collaboration.
- No design files or source code will be hosted or developed outside of our local environment.
4. Testing & Feedback:
- Ensure the new design is fully tested for usability, functionality, and responsiveness before deployment.
- Gather feedback from the team and make necessary adjustments to the design based on user experience testing.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Laravel and PHP web design, particularly with booking management systems or similar applications.
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and modern UI/UX best practices.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and other relevant web design languages.
- Experience in working directly with developers for seamless design-to-development handovers.
- Ability to work remotely via Anydesk and communicate effectively.
- Punjabi/Urdu language skills are a plus but not essential.
