Psychedelic May Flower Moon Art
Budget: $50 – $150 USD
I’m commissioning a single piece of digital artwork to headline the visual identity of an upcoming spring-time wellness retreat. The concept should merge geometric psychedelia with the mystique of the May Flower Moon, weaving obvious floral motifs together with a prominent lunar element.
Style & mood
• Geometric / psychedelic structure—think kaleidoscopic symmetry, repeating patterns, sacred-geometry vibes.
• Colour palette locked to rich purple, deep orange-yellow, with upbeat pops of salmon and grounded, earthy greens. Please keep these hues dominant so the final piece feels cohesive across print and web.
Key visual elements
• Flowers placed prominently—petals can spiral, tessellate or morph, as long as the bloom energy is unmistakable.
• A clear, enchanting Moon—full or waxing is fine, but it should sit harmoniously within the geometric flow.
Deliverables
1. Final artwork in high-resolution (minimum 4500 × 4500 px at 300 dpi) PNG or TIFF for large-format printing.
2. A layered source file (PSD, AI or Procreate) so minor text and colour tweaks remain possible later.
3. Web-ready JPG (≤2 MB) for the retreat’s landing page and socials.
Acceptance criteria
• color inspiration: Purple #4B1F5E, golden yellow #E5B93C, salmon #C94A7A, green # 5E7C4A
• Palette matches the specified colours without heavy deviation.
• Both flowers and moon are present and easily identifiable.
• A central, symmetrical focal subject that anchors the composition.
• Illustration style should feel hand-drawn with soft, slightly imperfect linework (not overly polished or hyper-digital).
• Background should include subtle texture (grain, speckling, or paper feel) with small decorative elements (stars or sparkles) to add depth without overcrowding.
• No pixelation or artefacts at 300 dpi print size.
• Geometry feels intentional, balanced and psychedelic rather than random.
• Psychedelic elements should feel structured and symmetrical (kaleidoscopic, sacred geometry), not chaotic or distorted.
• Overall feeling should be mystical, uplifting, and nature-connected—evoking spring renewal, femininity, and gentle transformation.
• Composition should leave space for:
• Title/header at the top
• Main artwork centered (date/location added to each side)
• Supporting text or details at the bottom, room for approximately 40-50 business names
I’m happy to review a rough sketch or colour proof first; once approved, you can proceed to full detail. Let’s create something vibrant that sets the perfect tone for a transformational spring gathering.
Attaching photo of inspiration of what background should look like and second attachment is our flyer.
