Project Designer (Blog Post Designs, Motion Graphics & Long-Form Content)

Job ID: 39841760

Budget: $50 – $0 USD

We’re looking for a Project Designer to help us create ultra-modern, visually engaging blog posts that integrate motion graphics, infographics, and interactive elements.

This is a long-term opportunity: we publish 30+ posts per month and will likely need either a full-time team or multiple dedicated designers.

IMPORTANT: This job is for Native English speakers only (USA, Canada, UK). Applicants outside these regions will not be considered.

First Project

You’ll start with redesigning the following project/blog post:
https://www.figma.com/proto/rHBBPQB70P5nPCU5NzrRxo/synapsepayments?page-id=0%3A1&node-id=2899-5314&viewport=-2111%2C96%2C0.39&t=sWVL8rxk7LUA7MhZ-1&scaling=scale-down-width&content-scaling=fixed

The written content and full table of contents are provided in the attached Word document.

Requirements

* Must read this post fully before applying. Auto-bids or generic messages will be ignored.

* Ability to design ultra-modern, engaging layouts for long-form blog posts.

* Must submit examples of long-form blog posts you’ve designed. If you do not provide relevant examples, your application will be declined.

* Must be comfortable creating custom icons, charts, infographics, and interactive elements—no generic stock icons.

* Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and content hierarchy for readability.

Design Goals & Ideas

1) Breadcrumb Schema: Keep the “Resources > Blog > …” navigation in place.

2) Hero Image: Replace the generic photo with a more striking, original visual.

3) Metadata: Date, page title, and author (“James Ritter”) should be included, with space for an author photo.

4) Table of Contents: Needs a complete redesign. It should:

* Be visually appealing (modern font/color scheme matching brand colors).

* Stick as the reader scrolls.

* Allow expandable/collapsible sections.

5) Feature Highlights: Turn sections like “Why Liquor Stores Need a Specialized POS System” into custom icon sets that highlight key features (age verification, compliance, etc.).

6) Market Trends: Convert stats into visuals—for example, a line graph projecting growth through 2033.

7) Interactive Infographics: Use graphics (e.g., custom liquor bottles filling up to % levels) to embed key data points inside visuals—reducing text walls.

8) POS System Reviews: Redesign the “Top Liquor Store POS Systems for 2025” section by:

* Making POS names prominent and easy to skim.

* Featuring actual product visuals/screenshots (not just homepage snapshots).

* Redesigning sub-sections (Features, Pricing, Hardware, Reviews, etc.) with distinct styling for better readability.

What We’re Looking For

We need a designer who can transform plain text into an immersive reading experience that:

* Keeps readers engaged throughout long-form content.

* Encourages them to take action (schedule a demo, learn more).

* Balances strong visuals with professional, minimal design.

If you meet the requirements and can deliver bold, modern blog designs that bring content to life, we’d love to hear from you. Please submit your portfolio of long-form blog designs with your application.
