Print Designer: Card Game Print Files (Cards/Box/Instructions)
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I already have a finished card-game rulebook and artwork compiled in a single PDF.
What I need now is for that content to be professionally laid out as separate, press-ready files that I can either print at home or hand straight to a manufacturer.
Here’s what must come out of the job:
• Game cards – 300-350 cards per game total, laid out at standard playing-card size (2.5" × 3.5"), including proper bleed, safe zones, crop marks, CMYK color profile, and an efficient sheet or PDF setup for both home printing and offset/print-on-demand services.
• Instruction booklet – re-flow the existing text and images into an easy-to-fold booklet; please set up printer spreads as well as a single-page view.
• Box design – create a matching box exterior (and interior guidelines), inner tray to hold the 5-6 level of cards, that fits the above card size, with dielines, folds, and glue flaps clearly marked.
Think Card Against Humanity cards/box and instructions.
I’ll supply: the current combined PDF or Figma files, all artwork assets, and font files.
You’ll supply: three separate, print-ready PDFs (cards, booklet, box) plus the editable source files (Adobe InDesign/Illustrator or similar). Color accuracy, proper resolution (300 dpi), and clean, organized layers are essential so any manufacturer can pick these up without extra prep time.
If you’re comfortable with standard playing-card templates and can turn around reliable press-ready files quickly, let’s get started!
