Postgraduate Graphic Design Proposal

Job ID: 39777952

Budget: £10 – £20 GBP

I need an 1,800-word research proposal that will serve as the foundation for my postgraduate work in graphic design. The study itself does not focus on any single sub-discipline like UI or typography; instead, it explores graphic design practice at a postgraduate level as a whole. The proposal must therefore demonstrate academic rigor, originality, and a clear contribution to knowledge within the broader design field.

I will be adopting a mixed-methods approach, so the methodology section has to show how qualitative insights and quantitative data will work together. My data collection plan already includes two strands: (1) surveys and interviews, and (2) case studies paired with focus groups. Please weave these techniques into a coherent research design that covers sampling, instruments, ethical considerations, and data analysis strategies.

Deliverables
• A polished, fully referenced proposal of 1,800 words (±10 %) in Microsoft Word or Google Docs format
• Citations and reference list in Harvard or APA style
• Clear sections: background, research question(s), literature review, methodology, expected outcomes, timeline, and limitations
• Logical flow linking the mixed-methods rationale to the dual data collection techniques

Acceptance Criteria
• Word count met without filler text
• Methodology explicitly justifies the blend of surveys, interviews, case studies, and focus groups
• References are current (last 7 years where possible) and relevant to graphic design research
• Turnitin similarity score below 15 %

If you have experience drafting research proposals in design or related creative disciplines and can deliver within one week, I’d love to see samples of your academic writing.
