Photo editing for merch designs
Budget: €12 – €18 EUR
I am looking for an ongoing collaboration with a designer to have James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) images edited to be put on T-shirts, hats, leggings, stickers, coffee mugs, coasters, socks, etc. I really want the designs to be something that is interesting so the buyer says 'I want to buy that'. I am not being very specific in the design because I really want to see your creativity.
Current plans are for creating JWST merchandise but may include Hubble merchandise. As I said, this is for ongoing collaboration as new images are being released on a weekly basis and Hubble already has hundreds of images available already.
What I am looking for in a designer:
---Someone that has an interest in space and the images that Hubble and Webb have taken. This is important as the designer will know what needs to be emphasized and it will make communicating easier.
---Someone who is easygoing. I work full-time and may not always be available to immediately respond.
---Someone who is detailed in their work. They want their product to be as good as possible.
---Someone who is proficient in Photoshop/Illustrator and will be able to make designs quickly.
---Someone who is extremely creative and thinks differently about how the images can be displayed. This is because the images are rectangular pictures of space and stars. A lot of the images may look similar if the specific features are not highlighted properly (see the above note about interest in JWST & Hubble). Making creative and innovative designs will be an ongoing challenge.
