We’re building an AI-powered nutrition-label scanner app that rates products using a custom, multi-axis grading system inspired by Abby Langer’s holistic approach. The app integrates products barcode scanning, LLM-driven ingredient analysis, and telehealth “Ask a Nutritionist” features. Our goal is to deliver a clean, intuitive, and engaging mobile experience that empowers users to make informed food choices.
Objective
Hire a design freelancer to produce high-fidelity UI/UX designs for the mobile app (iOS & Android), including:
Onboarding Flow
Barcode Scan & Result Screen
Custom Grade Display (multi-axis labels vs. binary)
AI Chat (“Ask a Nutritionist”) Interface
Nutritionist Partner Portal
Fallback Entry & Community Upload Screens
2. Scope of Work
2.1 Deliverables
Wireframes for all key user flows (low-fidelity, clickable).
High-Fidelity Mockups (Figma or Sketch) for each screen:
Splash & Onboarding
Camera/Scan Interface
Result Dashboard (score breakdown + insights)
AI Chat Module
Nutritionist Request Flow
Manual Entry & Text Search Views
Interactive Prototype demonstrating core navigation and animations.
Style Guide: Typography, color palette, iconography, and component library.
Assets Export: SVGs, PNGs (2x, 3x), and design tokens.
2.2 Requirements
Platform: FIGMA
Design System: We do not have any, so you'd better present a demo before deciding and proceed with implementing it in other screens. Tip: We are currently loving neo-brutalism.
Accessibility: WCAG 2.1 AA compliance
Responsiveness: Support for various screen sizes and orientations
Collaboration: Source files in Figma with version history and comments.
