Modular SaaS Development: Scheduler and Communication Features
Budget: $3,000 – $6,000 CAD
I am looking to develop the first phase of a modular SaaS application tailored for instructional service businesses. This phase will focus on three key components:
1. Scheduler:
- Flexible scheduling system where business owners can set opening days, times, number of classes per day, and class sizes.
- Ability to create participant groups (e.g., beginner, advanced, special needs).
- Integration with calendars (e.g., Google Calendar) and support for multiple time zones.
- Participant clock in/out functionality and attendance tracking with detailed reporting capabilities.
2. Communication System:
- Texting and emailing capabilities with options for mass, group, and individual messaging.
- Support for pre-designed templates and canned messages that can be sent immediately or scheduled in advance.
- Messages must comply with privacy laws, ensuring recipients remain anonymous from one another.
- Personalization features allowing messages to pull details like first names from the contact list.
- Contact lists, conversation history, and an audit trail should be accessible to the business owner for transparency and management.
3. Subscription Tiers & Payment Capabilities:
- Super admin functionality to manage subscription tiers for business owners (e.g., basic, premium).
- Pricing structure setup for each tier with associated features.
- Integration of payment gateways to handle subscriptions securely.
Key Requirement: All integrations (scheduler, communication tools, subscription management, and payment processing) must be seamless within the application to ensure a unified user experience without requiring multiple logins or external subscriptions.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in developing scalable SaaS applications.
- Experience with calendar integrations and communication APIs (e.g., Twilio or SendGrid).
- Expertise in implementing subscription models and payment gateway integrations (e.g., Stripe or PayPal).
- Strong understanding of privacy compliance in messaging systems.
- Ability to deliver modular designs that allow for future expansion phases.
