I’m commissioning a two-minute opening credits piece that pays clear homage to Saul Bass while feeling freshly made for today’s audience. Think bold, minimalist shapes and striking colour blocks, but animated with current-day fluidity—easing, parallax, subtle 3-D touches—so the final result feels suspenseful and mysterious rather than retro for its own sake.

You’ll have creative freedom to experiment with modern animation techniques in After Effects (or your preferred tool chain) as long as the pacing, timing, and typographic treatment stay true to Bass-style clarity. I’ll provide the cast list, logo assets, and the music cue; you’ll translate them into style frames, an animatic, and finally the polished sequence.

Acceptance criteria
• 2:00 final runtime, synced precisely to the supplied soundtrack
• High-contrast, geometric design language reminiscent of Bass
• Contemporary animation polish (motion blur, easing, camera moves) without over-complexity
• Atmosphere that builds suspense and mystery right from frame one
• Delivery: layered project files, 4K ProRes master, and a 1080p H.264 version, plus a short teaser loop suitable for social media
