Modern Employee Portal Website Design

I’m ready to launch a clean, modern-looking site that doubles as an internal portal for my team. Here’s the flow I need: staff visit the site, create an account, and wait for my admin approval before their username becomes active. Once approved, they log in to a personal dashboard where they can see company updates and any future modules we add.

Visual style must stay modern and minimalist—white space, simple typography, responsive layouts that feel just as good on mobile as on desktop. I’m open to WordPress, a custom build, or any framework you recommend, as long as it remains secure, scalable, and easy for me to maintain.
