Modern Chocolate Bar Packaging Design
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I'm looking for a modern packaging design for a line of chocolate bars. This is a crucial design project that will be seen by many, so I need all the necessary elements in place.
My idea is to have two core envelopes for the chocolate, one in black for dark chocolates, and one in natural for chocolates with milk. Then each flavor would have its own hang tag that attaches to the front of the envelope. The hang tag would have the flavor name and an art design on the front, and the back would have text information and photos.
In total we have 4 dark chocolate flavors that need their own tags, and currently 2 milk flavors.
We work with small lot regional cacaos from Colombia, and work with indigenous groups.
Should have gold stamping.
Inspiration came from the Starbucks reserve coffee cards.
Key Points:
- The core design should be elegant and reflective of the region that the cacao comes from. I'm looking for something that stands out, is contemporary, and appeals to an adult audience.
- Include essential elements like the nutritional information, brand logo, and ingredients list. These are non-negotiable and must be clearly visible on the packaging.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Experience in designing packaging for food products, particularly chocolate.
- Strong understanding of modern design trends and ability to create visually appealing, adult-targeted designs.
- Attention to detail is key as the correct placement of mandatory elements such as nutritional information is crucial.
- Prior experience in creating designs that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
