Our international, experienced team is now looking to appoint an accomplished Mobile UX / UI Designer to help deliver our global project. If working remotely, across time zones and cultures in a multi-disciplinary environment is the challenge you've been looking for, we are waiting to hear from you! Initially this will be a project-based opportunity but may translate into a permanent role over time.
Job Description
As a Mobile UX / UI Designer, your primary goal will be to design the next generation of the mobile app across native and hybrid platforms.
We expect you to have an evolved understanding of how people use their devices, the flexibility to adapt to new technologies, and a robust toolkit.
Responsibilities
- Translate the ideas and concepts into compelling designs for native and hybrid mobile version
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
- Develop intuitive, usable, and engaging interactions and visual designs for mobile app
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
- Stay abreast of UX / UI trends and look for creative ideas and inspiration in parallel analogous worlds
- Staying in the loop and on top of the latest standards, changes, trends in the mobile design field
- Break any design problem down into viable actionable chunks and solve them with clarity and precision
- Work closely with developers and engineers to deliver the final product
- Communicate design rationale effectively to key stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the design process
- Provide strategic thinking and leadership
Requirements
" A bachelor's or higher degree in interaction design, human-computer interaction, cognitive science or related field
" 5+ years of UX / UI design experience
" An outstanding portfolio demonstrating the successful delivery of innovative interface design solutions for native and hybrid mobile app
" Strong ability to recognize and predict use-cases and user interaction, including happy path, edge and corner cases, and incorporate them into designs
" Expert level skills in the Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision, UXPin and other relevant design tools
" Operational understanding of Accessibility and ability to incorporate accessibility in the Mobile designs
" Deep understanding of Apple's human interface design guidelines, Android design and other mobile platform designs, including Google's material design
" Ability to create, innovate, and think outside of the box
" A team player who can easily adapt in a rapidly changing environment
" Proven ability to work effectively with remote-based teams, across multiple time zones
