Minimalist Portfolio Website Build

I want a clean, fast-loading portfolio site that lets my work speak for itself. The core of the project is straightforward: build a modern web presence focused on showcasing my projects in an attractive photo gallery. I need the gallery to be easy for visitors to browse and just as easy for me to update in the future—whether through a simple CMS, markdown files, or another lightweight solution you can recommend.

Beyond the gallery, the overall layout should feel professional yet personal, using responsive design so it looks great on desktop, tablet, and mobile. While the only must-have feature right now is the photo gallery, please structure the code so I can seamlessly add a contact form and an “about me” section later without a full redesign.

Deliverable:
• A fully functional, responsive portfolio website with a working photo gallery and clear instructions on how to upload new images or edit text.

I’m open to the stack you prefer—React, Next.js, plain HTML/CSS with a touch of JavaScript, or another approach—so long as the end result is lightweight, secure, and easy for me to maintain.
